Watchtree Nature Reserve
Watchtree Nature Reserve was born in 2002 after been used as a burial site during the Foot and Mouth outbreak in 2001. Northern Construction became responsible for the maintenance of this site in October 2005. Some of our duties involved are ensuring that the contaminated (leachate) is contained and purified within the nature reserve and does not filter through into the water coarse. The installation of a newly built filtration plant now allows for the purification of the water to be controlled within the site. Other duties incorporate general site maintenance, including grass cutting and up keeping of the rush beds.

Northern Construction have been employed as a 3rd party to carry out day to day repairs to banks and high street stores such as Barclays Bank, Bradford and Bingley and Marks & Spencer's on behalf of this reputable facilities management Company.
